Hi there, are there any ideas, resources or links which could help me setting up eCS 1.2 or one of the eCS 2.0 release candidates (using an XP host)?I've tried setting up 1.2 und 2.0 RC4 from their installation CD ISO, both of which hang at the initial menu (boot with default values / boot with menu for own values / display online documentation). The menu selector can be moved, though slowly, but the VM seems to freeze as soon as I hit return on one of the options.Cheers,Robert Posts: 2 Joined: 15. Feb 2008, 00:09. Windows identifies my CPU to be an Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4000+ running at 2100 MHz, from which I would gather it's the 'Brisbane' (Stepping 'G') type which does, I think, implement AMD's hardware virtualization. Yes, I did enable VT-x/AMD-V for this VM.In the meantime, I've played around some more. The first notable observation is that simply moving through the eCS installation disk's boot menu already takes up to fifteen, twenty seconds to move from one menu entry to another.By the way, only once I managed to enter the screens 'for own values', through which I could switch back and forth as long as I was willing to wait again quite a couple of seconds for switching, but nothing more happened.
